Easy-Joint - DURABLE, TIGHT, SILENT ASPHALT DILATATION

TECHNIQUE:
  • Filling mass modified with Villabond EBD polymers,
  • Special, selected, cube-shaped grits,
  • Special mechanism to moderate shifts inside joint.

ADVANTAGES:
  • Very silent,
  • Shift moderation of up to 100 mm, above the average,
  • High durability,
  • Short-lasting exclusion of traffic due to simple and quick technique of dilatation,
  • Assembly regardless of length,
  • Seamless connection to road surface,
  • Simple reconstruction in the case of recurrence of the effaceable layer.

APPLICATION:

EASY-JOINT dilatations are successfully applied in road and land constructions for silent structures, where vertical and oblique shifts relative to direction of traffic must be taken over and range up to 10 cm. EASY-JOINT is a perfect, flexible component to join abutment with the bridge plate.

PROCESSING:

EASY-JOINT method has been applied successfully for many years. The assembly is organised in several clearly defined steps only in relevant weather conditions. EASY-JOINT dilatations are assembled in accordance to strict provisions on road construction and the assemble process is documented in detailed reports.

QUALITY OF EASY-JOINT

The quality management system ensures high level of qualifications of our staff. Thus, skilful processing of the products guarantees functionality of road joints for a long time. Detailed surveys by the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Quality Control (EMPA) and the ministerial approval confirm the functional reliability of the dilatation.

AREAS OF APPLICATION:

Both for roads outside cities with intense traffic of heavy vehicles, as well as for roads in cities or residential quarters. EASY-JOINT dilatations ensure significant reduction of noise as compared to many other products.

Preparation of the trough and drilling openings for anchoring the steel structures. Assembly of steel angle bars and sliding mats.
Fixing of clockwork mechanisms and stabilising metal plates. Filling of the trough with layers of road filling and aggregate.
Covering of the dilatation along with the steel mechanism. Thickening of the outer layer.
